Lady Gaga's former creative director turns aspiring pop star

Lady Gaga's former creative director Laurieann Gibson has stepped into the spotlight and launched a career as an aspiring pop star.

The acclaimed choreographer helped Gaga develop her unique style and also directed her concerts and music videos for years until they parted ways in 2011, and now Gibson is hoping to find some fame of her own.

Under the alias Harlee, Gibson has released a new track, called Dream Warriors, featuring rapper Akon.

In the accompanying music video, Gibson shows off her singing and dance skills in a post-apocalyptic setting.

Besides working with Gaga, she also as served as choreographer for Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, Cassie and Keri Hilton.
