Kunal Nayyar set to release a memoir
The Big Bang Theory star Kunal Nayyar is set to release his first memoir.
The actor, who plays astrophysicist Rajesh Koothrappali on the series, has inked a deal to pen an amusing book about his childhood in India, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Nayyar was born in London and raised in New Dehli. He moved to
America in 1999 to go to college and landed a small role as a
terrorist on TV show NCIS in 2007.
A humorous statement from the actor reads, "I've cleaned toilets in
Portland, been held up for 76 cents in Philadelphia, and my first
acting job on TV was playing a terrorist.
"Also my father thinks he's James Bond and I once played a Star
Wars board game for 36 straight hours. Then I married Miss India
(Neha Kapur). So, why not write a book? It's the logical next
step."
