Khloé Kardashian left stranded after emergency landing
Khloé Kardashian found herself unexpectedly grounded at a Las Vegas, Nevada airport after the plane she was flying in had an emergency landing on Tuesday (12Jan16).
According to TMZ, the 31-year-old Keeping Up with the Kardashians star was on a plane travelling from Los Angeles to New York City when the terrifying incident occurred.
The outlet reports Khloé's commercial cross country flight was
disrupted shortly after the plane was airborne, as minutes after
take off pilots reported smoke was in the cockpit. To maximise
passengers' safety, the plane's captain then decided to reroute and
land in Las Vegas, where the aircraft touched down around 3:30PM
local time.
No injuries were reported and everyone on the plane is believed to
be in sound health following the occurrence, and Khloe assured fans
on Twitter.com she and her make-up artist friend Joyce Bonelli are
fine as well.
"supposed 2b (sic) in NYC but somehow I'm in Vegas NYC I'm trying
to get there. Emergency landing but Joyce and I are SAFE," Khloé
wrote.
The friends made the most of their time in the airport by sipping
on cocktails and posting a live stream video via the star's mobile
app as they waited to get on a new plane to New York City.
Khloé is flying to the Big Apple to make various TV appearances on
shows such as Good Morning America and The Tonight Show Starring
Jimmy Fallon, where she will be promoting her new television series
Kocktails with Khloé - a variety-talk programme set to debut on
American cable channel FYI next week (beg18Jan16).
Khloé is elated about her latest foray into television and she has
been promoting the show on her social media accounts, writing on
Twitter hours before the emergency landing, "Work hard, cocktail
harder! The countdown starts now!#kocktailswithkhloe premieres next
Wed, Jan 20 on FYI!"
