KELLAN LUTZ MISSED OUT ON THE EXPENDABLES ROLE

Kellan Lutz was bitterly disappointed after he was forced to quit The Expendables - because he missed out on the chance to work with his longtime action hero Sylvester Stallone.
The Twilight actor was invited to join the star-studded cast of the upcoming blockbuster, but he had to turn down the role because of scheduling conflicts.
And Lutz admits he was devastated because the role would have fulfilled his childhood ambition of starring alongside the Rambo icon.
He tells Dose.Ca, "I want to work with Sylvester Stallone one day. I was supposed to work on his movie The Expendables. I auditioned for it and I got the role, but the scheduling didn't work out... And I was just like, 'What a bummer.'
"It has seven of my favourite action stars: Jason Statham, Jet Li, Mickey Rourke, Randy Couture... It's such an all-star cast. If the name 'Kellan' would have been up there with them, I would have died happy."
