Ke$ha's mom dismisses alcohol gossip

Ke$Ha's mother has blasted Internet gossips for spreading lies about her daughter after she checked into a rehab facility last week (ends03Jan13).

The Tik Tok singer revealed she had entered a clinic to seek help for an eating disorder, but it seems bloggers weren't convinced she was telling fans the truth.

Some went so far as to suggest alcohol was at the root of Ke$ha's problems, and now her mother Pebe Sebert has taken to Twitter.com in an attempt to stop the rumors.

She writes, "She is in an eating disorder center. It IS NOT ALCOHOL OR DRUG RELATED!!!!!!!!"

Sebert then told her daughter's fans, "Ke$ha loves you guys... Thanks for all your prayers."

The singer released a statement to confirm her 30-day rehab stint last Friday (03Jan14). It read: "I'm a crusader for being yourself and loving yourself, but I've found it hard to practise. I'll be unavailable for the next 30 days, seeking treatment for my eating disorder... to learn to love myself again, exactly as I am."
