Kanye West feels bullied by paparazzi

Rapper Kanye West has compared the paparazzi who chase him around New York and Los Angeles to high school bullies.

The Jesus Walks hitmaker, who has an uneasy relationship with snappers, has opened up about his hatred for them on his future mother-in-law Kris Jenner's talk show.

The rap star, who is currently fighting a lawsuit from a videographer he attacked outside LAX airport in Los Angeles, says, "They're around you only to make money off of you. If you're around people that are only there to make money off of you, you already feel like, 'Wait a second, these aren't your friends. Your friends make you smile.'

"Think about when you're in high school, if there was someone that came up to you everyday to take your money, to go in your pockets."

West also attempted to explain his recent paparazzi rant, during which he told one pack of snappers he didn't even want them to talk to him, adding, "It's almost worse when they say something positive. I don't know if you guys have ever seen me say to the paparazzi, 'Don't talk,' because its really more patronising then anything."

Since welcoming daughter North West, the rapper has grown more concerned about the photographers and is looking to change laws pertaining to where they can follow a celebrity. He told Jenner he is keen to meet with the Mayors of New York and Los Angeles to see what rules can be set in place.

Halle Berry and Jennifer Garner recently joined forced in Hollywood to testify against their treatment at the hands of the paparazzi, insisting new laws had to be created to keep photographers away from celebrities' children.
