Justin Bieber has started 2012 with a Twitter.com surge, but he's still 1.5 million followers behind Lady Gaga.
Bieber announced the fact he had amassed more than 16 million followers on Twitter during his New Year's Eve (31Dec11) performance in Times Square.
But Gaga is still the queen of the micro-blogging website, with
17.5 followers. Katy Perry is third with 13.4 million Twitter
fans.
