Justin Bieber facing Atlanta protests

Justin Bieber is facing a protest from residents of Atlanta, Georgia over his rumored plans to move to the city.

The troubled teenage pop star, who is currently renting out R&B producer Dallas Austin's Georgia home, is reportedly planning to sell his property in Calabasas, California and move to Atlanta's affluent Buckhead neighborhood.

However, the reports have infuriated residents of the community, who have scheduled a protest march for Monday (24Feb14).

Members of local residents group the Buckhead Neighborhood Coalition unveiled plans for the protest on the organisation's official Facebook.com page in a message which reads, "As a community here in Buckhead, we have worked hard to achieve our goals and get to where we are.

"Justin Bieber's relocation to Atlanta can be nothing but bad for our children, as well as the community. Some can't even let their children play in the driveway without fear; he has raced vehicles under the influence, before. What's to say he won't do it again?... Please do not allow a child to ruin what we have worked so hard to obtain."

The Baby singer previously infuriated neighbors in his exclusive gated community in Calabasas by allegedly racing his sports cars up and down the quiet residential streets, and he is currently facing driving under the influence charges in Florida stemming from an alleged drag race last month (Jan14). He denies three charges related to the incident.
