Justin Bieber compares himself to Michael Jackson after arrest
Justin Bieber has broken his silence following his arrest on Thursday (23Jan14) by comparing himself to the late King of Pop Michael Jackson.
The teenage singer was arrested in Miami Beach, Florida in the early hours of Thursday morning after police allegedly spotted him taking part in a drag race on a residential street. He was later charged with driving under the influence, resisting arrest without violence and driving without a valid license, and was freed on bail.
Bieber has now commented on his legal troubles in a series of posts
on his Instagram.com page, uploading a photomontage of himself and
late superstar Jackson.
The black and white shot shows Bieber sitting on his car and
holding his hand up to fans following his release from jail on
Thursday. The snap is superimposed next to a picture of Jackson in
2005 standing on top of a vehicle in a similar pose after he was
found not guilty of child molestation charges.
Bieber captioned the montage, "What more can they say" and added a
picture of a crown.
A subsequent image shows the 19 year old sitting on a sofa and
leaning into the camera, with the caption "Thank u (sic) lord",
while a post on the star's Twitter.com page reads, "You are all
worthy no matter what anyone says... Be strong God is with us
all... My Beliebers changed my life... I will forever be
grateful."
