Julia Stiles is relieved plans for her to star in playwright and filmmaker Neil Labute's Fat Pig on Broadway fell through because she was terrified about stripping down onstage.
The Bourne Ultimatum star has signed up to star in LaBute's play Reasons To Be Pretty in London, but she almost landed the lead in his celebrated Fat Pig in New York.
Stiles tells WENN, "It fell through on Broadway and I'm glad it did. As much as I was excited to go back to Broadway I was relieved that it didn't end up happening because I was really excited to not to have to wear a bikini onstage.
"It was the last scene where she flaunts out in a bikini and she's supposed to be the epitome of the perfect body. And I was like, 'Too much pressure!' Seriously, who wants to deal with that? A bikini with no ocean around you? Come on!"
