Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's day in court postponed to August
Johnny Depp and Amber Heard will face off in court in August after their first post-split hearing was postponed on Thursday (16Jun16).
Heard's hearing on domestic violence claims was scheduled to take place on Friday (17Jun16), but on the eve of the courtroom showdown, it was "advanced and vacated", amid reports the estranged couple are attempting to thrash out a divorce deal.
A temporary restraining order against the actor has been reissued,
according to People.com.
Amber has accused her estranged husband of subjecting her to
emotional and physical abuse throughout the couple's 15-month
marriage - a claim Depp strongly denies.
She showed up to court last month (May16) to request a protection
order sporting a bruised face, claiming Depp had thrown an iPhone
at her during a final row at the couple's Los Angeles home.
The official hearing on Heard's permanent restraining order request
has been rescheduled for 15 and 16 August (16), but a status
conference has been set for 2 August (16). The stars are not
