Joe Jonas' frantic hunt for condoms during first sexual encounter
Joe Jonas demolished his flatmate's room searching for condoms when he lost his virginity to then-girlfriend Ashley Greene.
The DNCE frontman dated Twilight actress Ashley when he was 20, and has previously spoken about how the stunning star was his first passionate encounter. However, in a Reddit Ask Me Anything (AMA) session on Tuesday (11Oct16), Joe admitted his first time didn't go smoothly because he couldn't find any protection.
"I lost my virginity to this girl named Ashley," he said. "You can
probably just Google it. It's pretty easy to figure out. I dated a
girl named Ashley, so just Google it to figure out which Ashley
that is.
"I didn't have any condoms, so I went to our drummer, Jack's room,
who was my roommate at the time and I demolished his room looking
for them. Found them underneath his underwear drawer. When he came
home, he thought somebody broke into his room because his whole
room was demolished because I was in dire need. Needed to happen
then and now. Safety first, kids."
There were no questions Joe refused to answer during the session,
with fans questioning the 27-year-old about his fall out with his
siblings when the Jonas Brothers disbanded and his plans for
2017.
"I would like to hopefully be rocking out on Mars, like Obama
promised us, today," Joe said when asked what he was hoping to
happen next year. "Maybe they can speed up the trials and I can go
up there and hang out. That would be nice. First band to play on
the moon and Mars. We're going to do a galaxy tour."
As well as his music career, Joe also dabbled in acting, starring
alongside brothers Nick and Kevin and pal Demi Lovato in 2008
Disney Channel movie Camp Rock.
However, watching the film back isn't something he enjoys today,
admitting he is left cringing.
"My dance moves in Camp Rock were so terrible," he said. "I thought
I was killing the game, too. Actually, (rapper) Tyler The Creator
posted it one day and I was like, 'Oh, cool! Tyler thinks my dance
moves are sick!' and I realized he was just totally calling me out
for being a total d**khead and the way I danced, but
respectfully.
"I think my flat iron hair and my squeaky voice are a little
embarrassing. Also, I watch it now and realize it was so many years
ago, it is really bad quality. It just reminds me of how much older
I am now. I'm 27."
