Jared Leto: 'It would be so much fun to do a rom-com!'

Jared Leto would love to be his "normal non-waxed self" in a romantic comedy.

The 44-year-old has made waves in Hollywood over recent years, thanks to his Oscar-winning portrayal of a transgender woman dying of AIDS in 2013’s Dallas Buyers Club and his role as the Joker in the newly released Suicide Squad.

But as for what's next on Jared's agenda, the actor is keen to do something not expected of him by appearing in a rom-com.

"Wouldn't that be nice?" Jared told E! News when asked about the prospect. "We could shoot in Hawaii. We'll do the junket in Hawaii."

Referring to the grooming he underwent for both Dallas Buyers Club and Suicide Squad, Jared added: "I can just be my normal non-waxed self. That would be wonderful. That would be fun! I would like to do something."

Before that though, fans of the star can see him take on one of cinema's most iconic roles as the Joker. Though the supervillain is terrifyingly manipulative, Jared claims that viewers may be surprised by the amount of humor he has injected into the part.

"I think people will be surprised because it's pretty funny," he continued. "And there's a romance."

The cast of the film attended the movie premiere in London, England, on Wednesday night (03Aug16), with Jared looking resplendent in his character's favorite colors - green and pink. Opting for a green double breasted coat, baby pink cropped trousers and black shoes with white socks – the eccentric star certainly stood out from the crowd. His coat was undoubtedly the showstopper piece of his ensemble though, and it has since emerged that Jared first caught sight of the outerwear as he sat front row for Gucci's Spring/Summer 2017 menswear show in Milan, Italy, earlier this year (16).
