Jamie Foxx in talks for Annie

Oscar winner Jamie Foxx is in talks to join young nominee Quvenzhane Wallis in the movie adaptation of musical Annie.

The Django Unchained star is up for a variation of the Daddy Warbucks character, previously portrayed on the big screen by Albert Finney, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The actor has received an offer to star in the project, which has Will Smith, Jada Pinkett-Smith and Jay-Z among its producers.
