Jada Pinkett Smith sympathises with men after sexy Magic Mike experience
Actress Jada Pinkett Smith has a newfound sympathy for men after finally understanding how their libido can influence their decision-making following her own steamy experiences on the set of the Magic Mike sequel.
The Gotham star plays a strip club owner in Channing Tatum's sexy new film, and she admits being surrounded by near-naked men on her first day at work awoke something within her.
Will Smith's wife tells talk show host Seth Meyers, "I learned
something very interesting. You know how you guys are always
telling us you have two heads and that they think at the same time,
(but) they think differently...?
"So I walk on my set for the first time at my club. At my club it's
just chocolate tastiness (all black men). It's 10, 11, 12 chocolate
men getting breezed down by the make-up department and literally, I
walked on the set and my knee buckled. Literally! My knee buckled!
And for the first time in my life, the other head below started
talking to me: 'Procreate! Procreate! Procreate!' My top head
(brain) was like, 'Jada, there is not a Will Smith on this set, you
can't procreate with nobody (sic)!'"
She continues, "That whole day, that was the moment when I was
like, I feel really bad for guys, because all along, you're
constantly dealing with that kind of stimulation. It's difficult
and I got a reality on (experienced) it. That was a hard day! I
only had one hard day, but it was rough!"
Ironically, after initially landing the role in Magic Mike XXL,
Pinkett Smith insisted she wouldn't be tempted by her stripper
co-stars, stating: "I'm used to being around all that beefcake
because you know who I live with."
The actress' co-stars in the upcoming film include Tatum, Matt
Bomer, Joe Manganiello, Donald Glover and footballer-turned-TV host
Michael Strahan.
