Jack Osbourne: 'I support my parents as they work through their issues'

Jack Osbourne is throwing his support behind his parents as they work to repair their marriage.

Ozzy Osbourne's 34-year marriage to his manager wife Sharon hit the rocks in May (16) after the rocker's alleged fling with Los Angeles-based hairstylist Michelle Pugh went public. Ozzy and Sharon initially split, but they have since reconciled, and the Black Sabbath star has entered treatment for a sex addiction.

Jack acknowledges his parents' relationship has its issues, but insists they are working hard to stay together.

"They're working on it," he told SiriusXM's Sway in the Morning. "You know, they're trying to rein it in. They've been together for so long and this isn't their first rodeo."

"They don't have this picture-perfect marriage, and they've never claimed to, so they're just trying to figure it out, I guess," he continued. "My take on it is, whatever happens, my parents are still my parents - it's not like they're going to be like, 'Well, do you want to go live with your dad or your mom?' So you kind of just support where you can and focus on whatever you need to get done.

"I've got my own kids and my own marriage to work on."

After Ozzy's revelation, Sharon praised her husband for going public with his issues.

"I am proud (Ozzy) has come out and admitted it finally. It's very very hard," she said on The Talk earlier this week (beg01Aug16).

Meanwhile, Ozzy's daughter Kelly is facing a defamation lawsuit from his former mistress after posting her contact details online. In legal papers filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, and obtained by TMZ.com, the hairstylist slammed Kelly for suggesting she manipulated 67-year-old Ozzy, insisting he was the one who initiated the romance in 2013 and kept the relationship going until May (16).
