Iggy Azalea thanks Adam Lambert for X Factor gift
Adam Lambert surprised Iggy Azalea with a necklace after filming wrapped on The X Factor Australia.
The pair got close as judges on season eight of the singing contest, with Guy Sebastian and Mel B joining them on the judging panel.
Adam’s contestant Isaiah Firebrace was crowned victorious on Monday
(21Nov16), but Iggy bears no grudges against her fellow mentor
after he surprised her with a necklace in the shape of an Egyptian
ankh.
"Thanks @adamlambert for my gift!" she captioned a snap of the
jewelry on Instagram. "It's been so much fun & so many laughs
filming with you on the xfactor and I hope we still hangout in LA
too! Love you #DivasForever."
Iggy was born and raised in Australia, but now resides Stateside.
Talking about her feelings towards her home country in a new
interview with GQ Australia, the Fancy hitmaker admitted she
doesn't understand why people are so "offended" that she doesn’t
miss living Down Under.
"Of course I like Australia, but I don’t know why people get so
offended as it’s not my home. I don’t miss Australia, not because
there aren’t great things about it," she sighed. "Emigrating when
you’re a kid is a defining moment of your life, where you’re about
to become an adult. That shapes you, I doubt you really understand
the feeling."
Posing in a swimming pool wearing a wet white T-shirt for the Men
of the Year issue, Iggy also touched upon the normality of her
life.
"It’s weird to be normal now, right?" she mused. "There are varying
degrees of normality depending on your level of insanity and
environment. I’d be classified as normal for the environment I’m in
but if you threw me into regular life, I may seem insane."
