Iggy Azalea teases artwork for single Team
Iggy Azalea has revealed the brand new artwork for her latest single Team.
Taken from her second studio album Digital Distortion, the track is due for release later this month (18Mar16).
The new visual features a digitally distressed picture of the star,
in a white baseball cap and blue vest-top, looking confidently at
the camera.
"Hi everyone.... #10DaysTilTEAM so i thought i should share the
ArtWork with you all. :-)," she wrote on Twitter (08Mar16).
Earlier the 25-year-old star revealed that plans for the song's
video are also nearing completion.
"I finished the edit of 'TEAM' last night and im (sic) feeling
really good about how things turned out," she wrote (07Mar16).
"Heading back today to make some color correction notes and im
excited to watch it again! hahaha. The dancers in the video just
give me eternal life. I cant wait for you to see these girls," she
added.
Team follows the release of the Australian pop star's last single
Azillion and is said to play up to the social media storm
surrounding the release of her debut album The New Classic
(14).
The star infamously fell out with fellow rapper Azealia Banks at
the time, trading blows on Twitter after Iggy was criticised by the
star for not speaking out about the Black Lives Matter
movement.
It is hoped that the latest release will match the success of her
single Fancy, which reached the top of the Billboard charts in
2014, making the singer, the fourth female rapper to ever reach the
number one spot.
