Iggy Azalea met her boyfriend on the Internet

Iggy Azalea met her basketball player boyfriend Nick Young on social networking website Twitter.com.

The Australian rapper began dating the Los Angeles Lakers star in November (13) and she has now revealed the romance was initiated over the micro-blogging site, where they would exchange messages with each other before meeting in person for their first date.

Azalea tells London's Metro newspaper, "We tweeted a couple of times and then we met up. It's not desperate, it's about admiring."

She would recommend the tactic, adding, "Put it out into the world to find somebody you like and make it be known. If it doesn't work out, it doesn't work out - but it doesn't matter. If you fancy someone, let them know in your own way - be it on Twitter or personally or on SMS (text) or whatever. Just go from there."
