Hugh Jackman goes back in time to warn younger self not to make Movie 43
Hugh Jackman has gone back in time to interview himself for a new Yahoo! Movies skit.
2014 Hugh sits down with his 1999 self to discuss the future of the X-Men movies as 90s Jackman prepares to star in the first film of the franchise.
Younger Hugh learns he has become the world's biggest movie star in
2014 thanks in part to the success of his X-Men Wolverine character
and his older self reveals he'll make great films with Christopher
Nolan (The Prestige) and Darren Aronofsky, whose The Fountain will
change his life.
But the modern-day Hugh warns the younger actor to steer clear of
movie bomb Movie 43.
He says, "When they come to you with an idea of putting testicles
around your neck and being part of this hilarious group and
ensemble of some of the funniest movies of all time don't believe
them.
"You could take the testicles because you use it quite a lot at
parties... It gets a good laugh, but the movie you can do without
doing it."
