Halle Berry sued by homeless woman to pitch a TV show

Actress Halle Berry is among a number of celebrities who have been named in a bizarre lawsuit filed by a homeless woman who is using the case to pitch a TV show.

The Monster's Ball star, former child actress Amanda Bynes and The Social Network's Armie Hammer have been named in the lawsuit, which the claimant Jo Anne Vandegriff admits is for the sole purpose of getting them to read her script.

Vandegriff is also targeting the Disney movie studio because she wants the company to produce her mini-series, according to a report by TMZ.com.

It is not known on what basis Vandegriff is suing the stars, but in the paperwork she claims she is using the legal system to get their attention because "a mini-series of this nature only comes along once every twenty to 30 years".
