Halle Berry fine after hospitalisation

Halle Berry's representative has assured fans the star is fine after she was hospitalised following an incident on the set of her new movie on Tuesday (17Jul12).

The actress was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after falling over and hitting her head on the concrete floor during a fight sequence for The Hive.

A spokesperson for the star has now confirmed Berry was taken to the hospital as a precaution, and was released after undergoing tests.

The rep tells TMZ.com, "Halle Berry suffered a minor head injury while shooting a fight sequence on the set of her film, The Hive.

"She was taken to the hospital as a precaution, but she checked out healthy and was released. She'll continue production as planned."

The incident is the second injury the Oscar winner has suffered in recent months - she slipped and broke her foot while filming another movie, Cloud Atlas, in Spain earlier this year (12).
