Glasvegas almost landed collaboration with Lady Gaga
Scottish rockers Glasvegas once came close to recording a collaboration with Lady Gaga after the pop superstar declared her admiration for the band.
Glasvegas guitarist Rab Allan recently let slip the news on Facebook.com after posting a link to a YouTube.com video featuring the Poker Face hitmaker gushing about the group.
When a friend commented on the clip and suggested they set up a
duet, Allan revealed, "It nearly happened a while back. Funny
story."
The musician stops short of expanding on the tale, but went on to
claim that Gaga had sent the band a photo showing her dressed up in
their trademark leather jacket and sunglasses, with her hair styled
into a quiff with a message asking if she could be Geraldine, the
protagonist their 2008 single is named after.
