Emile Hirsch is a new dad

Actor Emile Hirsch has become a first-time father to a baby boy.

The Into The Wild star welcomed baby Valor, who weighed in at six pounds and two ounces (2.7 kilograms), last week (27Oct13) in Florida, with an unnamed former lover who he reportedly met at an Oscars party.

A source tells E! online, "The baby was born at a Florida hospital... It is boy. His name is Valor and he was six pounds and two ounces. He is a beautiful, healthy baby boy. Everyone is so excited and happy... Emile showed up after the baby was born and he is spending time bonding with his new child."
