Eddie Redmayne lost his wedding ring while shooting The Danish Girl

British actor Eddie Redmayne had to replace his wedding ring after losing the original while filming his new movie The Danish Girl.

The Oscar winner married his longtime girlfriend Hannah Bagshawe in December (14) and the new drama, in which he plays one of the earliest recipients of gender reassignment surgery, was the first project he shot as a married man.

However, Redmayne admits he suffered a disaster on-set when he lost his wedding band.

He says, "When you're filming you have to take off these things and I actually lost my wedding ring so this a new wedding ring that is being worn. I was pinning it (the original ring) to my costume every day and one day it disappeared... I sort of skirted around it (telling my wife), but anyway I like the new one... I'm loving the first year of marriage. I'm a lucky man."
