Ed Sheeran tweets from Bridget Jones movie set
British singer Ed Sheeran confirmed he is working on the Bridget Jones movie by tweeting a picture from the set.
Rumours recently suggested the Sing star had landed a cameo appearance in the third installment of the romantic comedy franchise, Bridget Jones's Baby, and he has now addressed the speculation by sharing a photograph from his acting stint.
Ed posted a picture on his Twitter.com page, showing him snapping a
'selfie' photo with the film's star Renee Zellweger during a scene
in a bar.
"Spent the day being an actor in the new Bridget Jones movie. Loved
it, you're gonna love it too... #bridgetjones and
#bridgetjonesbaby," he wrote.
Filming on the third movie, which reunites Renee with her former
co-star Colin Firth, began in July (15) with scenes filmed during
Ed's gig at Croke Park stadium in Dublin, Ireland.
Renee's body double was spotted in the crowd at the show, sitting
on the shoulders of a mystery man.
The long-delayed film has been in the works since 2011, but the
project hit a number of delays due to problems with the script, and
British actress Emma Thompson was drafted in to rework the
screenplay.
The third film follows 2001 comedy Bridget Jones's Diary and its
2004 sequel Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, both based on the
works of British author Helen Fielding.
