Ed Sheeran signs second act to Gingerbread Man Records label
Ed Sheeran has signed one of his personal favorite acts to his Gingerbread Man Records label.
The singer/songwriter has been a longtime fan of Foy Vance, who has toured as support to Sheeran, and now they're set to be labelmates.
Confirming his second signing to Gingerbread Man Records, Sheeran
tweets, "I've signed my second act to my label. One of my all time
favorite artists and inspirations."
Irish folk rocker Vance co-wrote Sheeran's Tenerife Sea and Afire
Love. His music has appeared on TV shows such as Grey's Anatomy and
Sons of Anarchy.
A note on his website reveals Vance is already recording his debut
album as a Gingerbread Man artist. It will be out early next year
(16).
Sheeran's first signing, Jamie Lawson, has already tasted success
as an artist on the Lego House singer's label - his first release
debuted at number one on the U.K. album chart in October (15).
