Ed Sheeran's phone stolen at gig

British pop star Ed Sheeran fell victim to thieves when his phone was stolen backstage at a gig in Argentina over the weekend (25-26Apr15).

The Lego House hitmaker is currently touring in South America and played gigs at the Estadio Luna Park in Buenos Aires on Saturday (25Apr15) and Sunday (26Apr15).

Sheeran took to Twitter.com on Tuesday (28Apr15) to inform followers he is now without a phone because his cell was taken from the backstage area at the venue in the Argentinian capital.

He writes on the microblogging site, "Had my phone stolen from backstage in Argentina which sucks, so I'm only contactable via a carrier pigeon called Gus."
