David Guetta wins support of chocolate makers over video tribute
Dance music superstar David Guetta has won praise from bosses of a British chocolate company after he chose to immortalise the firm's most famous adverts in his new music video.
The French DJ has used Cadbury's iconic Milk Tray commercials as the basis for the promo for What I Did For Love, his new single featuring Scottish singer Emeli Sande, and fans were quick to spot the 'Milk Tray Man' references.
Cadbury chiefs have also now given the star their blessing for
featuring their beloved James Bond-style character, who performs
terrifying stunts in order to present a box of Milk Tray chocolates
to the woman of his dreams.
Benazir Barlet-Batada, marketing manager at Cadbury's parent
company Mondelez International, tells WENN, "We are delighted with
the new video montage for David Guetta's new single... The Cadbury
Milk Tray adverts are iconic to many and it is great to see that
people are still in love with the brand. The Milk Tray man knew no
bounds to declaring his love and this is evident in David's
video..."
