Actor Dane Dehaan lost seven pounds in two days while filming The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

The Lawless star, who plays the Hary Osbourne/The Green Goblin in the film, had to shoot the final battle scene opposite Andrew Garfield on a 110-degree set, and reveals the hot temperatures caused the rapid weight loss.

He says, "Physically it's an incredibly challenging role. The suit I wear weighs 50 pounds (22.7 kilograms) and it takes an hour to put on, after three-and-a-half hours of makeup.

"So the final battle (scenes) between me and Spider-Man, were in a clock tower and... they were literally taking buckets of ice water and pouring it down my suit in between takes and it was just turning to steam."
