Chris Klein turns sportscaster for TV news segment

Chris Klein channelled his American Reunion sportscaster character on live TV on Monday (09Jul12) when he turned reporter for a segment on the Fox network.

The star was making a guest appearance on morning show Fox + Friends when he was invited to join professional sportscaster Brian Kilmeade to show off the skills he'd learned on the set of the latest American Pie sequel, in which he portrayed Chris 'Oz' Ostreicher.

Klein ran through the latest headlines - from tennis ace Roger Federer's Wimbledon victory over Andy Murray in London to the potential line-up for the Major League Baseball All-Star Game on Tuesday (10Jul12) - and he later thanked Kilmeade for the opportunity.

Taking to Twitter.com, he wrote, "Thanks for letting me step in @kilmeade, great time hosting the sport segment with you today".
