Chloe Grace Moretz: 'I'm searching for the right guy'

Actress Chloe Grace Moretz is determined to figure out what she is looking for in a mate before she starts dating.

The Carrie star, who turned 18 last year, has been linked to David and Victoria Beckham's son Brooklyn, but she insists there's no special guy in her life, other than her brother and his boyfriend.

"Right now I'm just trying to figure out who I like," she told talk show host Wendy Williams on Friday (15Jan16). "Like if I have a taste in guys, if there's, like, a type that I have. I don't really know if I have a type. It's like a tapas dinner right now and I'm just trying to figure out which one (I like)."

While Moretz is unsure of her taste in boys, she is open to dating guys in and outside of Hollywood, because she sees benefits in both types of relationships.

"I can't really tell if I like outside-of-the-business (men) or in-the-business, because in-the-business, it's nice because they (boyfriends) get it and you just understand," she continued. "There's no question as to why you're having to go away to do a movie for nine months or kissing another guy on set and how it's not romantic at all; there's no question about it. They understand it.

"But it's also nice having someone outside of the business, because your conversations don't become about the business and it becomes about their other lives and different stuff and what they're dealing with."
