Charlie Sheen's ex: 'He's not a monster'
Charlie Sheen's ex-girlfriend Natalie Kenly can't believe the actor would ever put a loved one at risk as news of the actor's alleged HIV-positive announcement hits the headlines.
The Wall Street star is expected to reveal the shocking news during a live TV interview on Tuesday morning (17Nov15), prompting speculation about the fall-out.
Insiders fear many of Sheen's past lovers will follow up his
appearance on Today with lawsuits, but Kenly, who is now a mother,
tells People.com she cannot believe her ex would ever be recklessly
promiscuous.
"He is not a monster," the 29 year old says. "He has regard for
human beings and cares about people. I do not see him knowingly
putting women at risk.
"That's not who he is... He's got young kids. He's also not an
idiot and I don't see him opening himself up to that legal
nightmare."
And Kenly, who was one of Sheen's 'Goddess' live-in lovers, still
has fond feelings for her ex-boyfriend, adding, "He loved us all.
He cares.
"He's a good man and I feel very fortunate to have spent the time
with him that I did, and I'm so sad to hear of his health troubles.
I hope he's OK."
Bree Olson, another one of Sheen's former 'Goddesses' has also
spoken out about her ex in the light of the new health revelations,
insisting she did not contract HIV from him.
Pre-empting the story in a post on her website on Friday (13Nov15),
former porn star Olson wrote, "There are speculations circling that
one of my ex boyfriends from years ago may have contracted the HIV
virus. They are rumors and I know nothing more than anyone
else.
"I, myself have been to my gynecologist at least once a year since
we split up and have always been tested across the board for
everything and have came back clean across the board every
time."
