Charlie Rowe praises 'father figure' Rhys Ifans for Neverland advice
British child actor Charlie Rowe has heaped praise on his Neverland co-star Rhys Ifans after he dished out handy tips and advice on set.
The 15 year old plays Peter Pan in the new U.K. TV miniseries, opposite Bob Hoskins as Smee, Ifans as James Hook, and the Notting Hill star's real-life girlfriend Anna Friel as Captain Elizabeth Bonny.
Charlie Rowe reveals the couple, who began dating after growing
close on set, were supportive and helped him improve his
performance.
He tells Scotland's Daily Record, "I learned a lot from Rhys and
Anna particularly, and Bob Hoskins is just a hilarious man to work
with.
"Rhys was very supportive and was like a father figure to me. He
was talking to me about acting and how to take steps to improve
things, and gave me tips on how to get into character."
