Cara Delevingne turned to Kate Moss for advice
Cara Delevingne turned to her supermodel friend Kate Moss for advice after a painful skin condition flared up as she was preparing to walk the runway during Paris Fashion Week in France.
The British beauty suffers from psoriasis, an auto-immune disease which causes unsightly, itchy scabs on the skin, and was struggling to cope with the affliction during one of the fashion world's busiest few days.
Delevingne was backstage preparing for a Louis Vuitton show in the
French capital when her model friend Moss spotted the scabs and
arranged for her younger contemporary to seek medical
attention.
She tells W magazine, "It only happened during Fashion Week, which
is, of course, the worst time of year for me to be covered in
scabs. Psoriasis is an auto-immune disease and I'm sensitive.
"Kate Moss saw me before the Louis Vuitton show at 3am when I was
being painted by people to cover up the scabs. She said, 'This is
horrible, why is this happening? I need to help you.' She got me a
doctor that afternoon, Kate gives really good advice."
