Cara Delevingne explored local high school after sneaking away from Paper Towns set

Students in North Carolina found themselves walking corridors with international supermodel Cara Delevingne when the Brit sneaked away from the nearby set of her new movie Paper Towns to experience a real high school.

The 22 year old attended an all girls school while growing up in England, but she has always been fascinated with American schools and so she showed up unannounced at one in Charlotte in a bid to get a feel for it.

She says, "I watched all these different American TV shows of high school and I was like, 'Do those locker things exist? How does it work?' I got in a couple (of the lockers).

"I ran away from the producers and just went into people's classrooms and just hung out. I sat in the library."
