Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars have become only the 10th act to score 10 million sales for a single or album since officials at the Recording Industry Association of America introduced their diamond award in 1999.
The pair's smash-hit Uptown Funk has achieved diamond certification less than two years since the single was released in November, 2014.
Uptown Funk has sold over 12.4 million in downloads, while the
video accompanying the song has been streamed over 1.9 billion
times.
The song was also the bestselling song of 2015 and was named Record
of the Year at this year's (16) Grammy Awards.
