Britney Spears spends a fortune on her dogs

Britney Spears has spent more than $30,000 on her two dogs over the last year, according to court documents.

The Toxic star paid $8,212 for a Yorkshire Terrier and $5,568 for a white Maltese last year (13), and she went on to splash out $1,585 on clothes for her pampered pooches.

Court documents filed as part of Spears' conservatorship case, and obtained by TMZ.com, also show she spent another $5,205 on care for the dogs, as well as other expenses such as food, bringing the total expenditure on the animals to more than $30,000.
