Britney Spears: 'My son doesn't think I'm cool anymore!'

Britney Spears' sons no longer think she is cool.

The 34-year-old singer is mother to Sean, 11, and 10-year-old Jayden with ex-husband Kevin Federline. While the boys enjoyed having a famous parent in the initial stages of their upbringing, Sean's fast approaching teenage years mean he is growing somewhat annoyed with Britney's day job.

"My oldest (is the most opinionated)," Britney admitted during an interview on British television show Loose Women on Tuesday (04Oct16). "He's at that stage where he's like, 'Mom, really?' He thinks, 'Mom is really not that cool, mom doesn't know it all'. He's at that stage where he's about to be a teenager so it's a tricky stage!"

However, while Britney is gearing up to have a teenager, Sean's honesty does come in handy at points. In fact, Britney turned to her eldest boy for advice while working on her latest album Glory.

"It is (wise to get his opinion) because he's very blunt and very honest and I respect that, and he is the generation coming up, so a couple of the songs he's like, 'Mom, that's really boring' or 'Mom that's really really good' and he's right," Britney said.

But when the hosts asked if she would consider changing something if Sean didn't like it, Britney replied: "Not really!"

Sean was also responsible with coming up with the title for Glory - Britney's ninth studio album. When he was listening to it one day that he suggested the name, which stuck.

"My son named it Glory. He was listening to it and he just said it, He was like, 'mom you should name it Glory'. He's already DJing right now - he's going to give his dad a run for his money. He's brilliant, he's really good," Britney gushed.
