Brad Pitt surprises fans at movie screening

Brad Pitt gave fans in New Jersey a treat by showing up unannounced at a screening of his new zombie movie.

The audience was settling down to watch Pitt's apocalyptic horror World War Z when the actor walked into the theatre at Clearview Cinemas in Hoboken.

He handed out T-shirts to the delighted crowd before giving a short introduction to the movie, in which he plays a United Nations employee interviewing survivors of a zombie outbreak.

A source tells gossip website Just Jared, "Brad wanted to make sure that the screening was for the fans, the people that he made the film for. The crowd went wild when he showed up and he had T-shirts to hand out to his fans.

"He made sure to give New Jersey a big shout out before the movie started!"
