Azealia Banks reignites bitter feud with Iggy Azalea

Outspoken rapper Azealia Banks has reignited her feud with Iggy Azalea by branding her a "clueless white girl".

The spat gained momentum earlier this month (Dec14) when Banks blasted her longtime social media target Azalea for staying silent in the wake of a grand jury decision not to indict a New York City police officer over the death of suspect Eric Garner.

She has persistently criticized the Fancy hitmaker for appropriating black culture but not speaking out on black issues, and in an interview with Hot 97's Ebro in the Morning, she slammed Azalea and Macklemore for winning Grammy Awards over black artists.

Banks said, "Here's the thing with Iggy Azalea... I feel just like in this country that whenever it comes to our things like black issues or black politics or black music or whatever, there's always this undercurrent of a f**k you... Like a f**k y'all n**gas... And that Macklemore album wasn't better than the Drake record. That Iggy Azalea s**t isn't better than any f**king black girl that's rapping today... the Grammys are supposed to be like accolades for artistic excellence... Iggy Azalea is not excellent... and when they give these Grammys out all it says to white kids is you're great.. You're amazing... and it says to black kids you don't have s**t, you don't own s**t, not even the s**t you created for yourself, and it makes me upset."

Azalea has since responded to the on-air tirade with a series of posts on Twitter.com in which she brands her fellow rapper a "bigot" who doesn't have "the mental capacity" to realize what she is saying.

She writes, "Special msg (message) for banks: There are many black artists succeeding in all genres. The reason you haven't is because of your p**s poor attitude... Your inability to be responsible for your own mistakes, bullying others, the inability to be humble or have self control. It's YOU!.. you created your own unfortunate situation by being a bigot and don't have the mental capacity to realize yet. Probably never will... Now! rant, Make it racial! make it political! Make it whatever but I guarantee it won't make you likable & THATS why ur (you're) crying on the radio... Enjoy continuing to bang your head against that metaphoric brick wall & Savor this attention. I'm the only way you get ANY... You're poisonous and I feel genuinely sorry for you because it's obvious at this point you are a MISERABLE, angry human being. Regards!"

However, Banks seems determined to prolong the spat by hitting back, writing, "Dear LordT (sic), I Pray for this Clueless White Girl... None of this will make sense to her until she herself has children with a black man and has to deal with having black children in America."
