Aubry wants Berry to provide for new home
Halle Berry's ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry is demanding the actress pay him at least $15,000 a month for a new house as part of their bitter custody battle over their young daughter.
The Oscar winner has been embroiled in a court fight with model Aubry, the father of her three-year-old child Nahla, since their split in 2010.
He has filed new legal documents in a Los Angeles court listing his
child support needs - and he's expecting Berry to give him between
$15,000 and $20,000 a month to rent a home which lives up to the
comfortable surroundings little Nahla has become accustomed to.
He's also seeking a large sum for the tot's clothing requirements
and is asking for extra funds to pay for a trip to Canada to visit
his family.
A hearing on the financial issues had been due to take place on
Monday (05Mar12), but it has since been postponed until 9 April
(12), reports TMZ.com.
Berry recently asked a judge for permission to move from Los
Angeles to her fiance Olivier Martinez's native France, amid fears
for her family's safety after multiple run-ins with an alleged
stalker.
She has hired Mel Gibson's legal pitbull Stephen Kolodny to fight
her case.
