Ant-Man marches to the top of the nation's box office

Ant-Man has given Marvel Studios bosses their 12th North American box office number one.

Paul Rudd's movie has debuted at the top of the film chart with a $58 million opening weekend.

Animated movie Minions drops a spot to two with a very healthy $50.2 million take, taking the film's 10-day tally to an impressive $216.7 million.

Comedienne Amy Schumer's Trainwreck also had a triumphant weekend, coming in at three with a $30.2 million opening weekend, while Inside Out and Jurassic World round out the new top five.
