Adele's greatest hits to be released as lullabies

Adele's popular tunes are set to be turned into baby-friendly versions.

The British singer's famed songs Hello, Someone Like You and Set Fire to the Rain are all going to be turned into lullabies on a new album produced by Rockabye Baby!, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Rockabye Baby! will create soothing editions of the 27-year-old's hit tracks using xylophones, wind chimes, bells and classroom-style instruments. While the reinterpreted songs will feature no Adele-sung lyrics, the music company claims they have been reworked to help newborns sleep, a concept which will undoubtedly appeal to new parents.

Prior to the Adele album, Rockabye Baby! has turned hits by a diverse range of music artists into instrumental versions, including songs by Fleetwood Mac, Blink-182, Rihanna and Kanye West.

The album may also appeal to the Skyfall singer's three-year-old son Angelo, whom she shares with partner Simon Konecki.

Adele previously admitted that her son does not like when she sings her own songs to him. When asked by BBC Radio's Chris Evans last year (15) if she sang to her son, she shared, “He doesn't really like my music," adding that he preferred classic nursery rhymes instead. "So, Twinkle, Twinkle, Row, Row, Row Your Boat, Peppa Pig (it is).'"

The lullaby album is set to be released on 29 April (16).
