British actor Adam Deacon has pleaded not guilty to harassing his Adulthood director and co-star Noel Clarke.

The 31 year old was charged with one count of harassment without violence in December (14) for allegedly sending threatening messages about Clarke on social media from March to December (14).

Deacon appeared at Hammersmith Magistrates' Court in London on Friday (16Jan15) to deny the allegations, and he was granted bail ahead of his trial, which is due to begin on 11 May (15).

According to Mirror.co.uk, Judge Richard Blake said, "You are not to contact Noel Clarke or any member of his family, and not to post anything on social media or about Mr. Clarke, and you are not to enter the London Borough of Kensington and Chelsea."

Deacon replied, "Thank you for your help today, your honor, and I will do everything you say."
