Apparently, Washington D.C. wasn’t enough for the sharks of Sharknado. It has just been reported that, in the third installment of the Syfy franchise, the airborne maneaters will begin by taking on the sharks in suits in Washington D.C. before descending down the entire east coast and ending up in America’s classiest city, Orlando, Florida. The sharks are rumored to eat up tourists at some of Orlando’s most popular destinations, including Disney World and Sea World. I didn’t think it was possible for Florida to have an even weirder claim to fame, but lo and behold, the great city of Orlando will also now be known for shark tornadoes. Here's hoping it's not during Hurricane Season... Sharkicane???
This is just the beginning for the sharks, though. Sharknado star Ian Ziering has expressed interest in having the sharks travel overseas, as the Sharknado franchise has become an international sensation. I’m curious as to which international cities the sharks will hit; I personally think that it would be delightfully ironic and dark if the sharks hit Australia, considering how many shark attacks actually do take place there each year. It may also be fun to see the sharks circle around international monuments such as the Eiffel Tower, the Taj Mahal, and the Great Pyramid of Giza. These sharks are getting to be quite well-traveled and cultured.
Where would YOU like to see the sharks strike next?
