If you grew up watching Disney XD's "Phineas and Ferb", chances are you still have the theme song embedded into your brain, among many other frivolous tunes from the series. You probably spent a lot of time as a kid calculating how many days of summer vacation you had left and devising various Phineas and Ferb-like plots (most, if not all, of which never saw the light of day) to make your summer as long as the theme song suggested it should be – 104 days, to be exact.
But did their summer ever really end? No, it didn’t! In fact, it’s still going, and we’re getting one more adventure in an upcoming revival! Almost a decade since the series first ended its run on the Disney channel, it was recently announced that two brand new seasons have been greenlit for Disney+! And, of course, we’re also sure to hear some catchy new tunes.
We figured we should probably celebrate this latest installment and prep ourselves more wild rides by revisiting our top 5 "Phineas and Ferb" songs from the original series!
5. “My Undead Mummy”
Starting our list off is this classic, wholesome tune, “My Undead Mummy”! When a mummy says “Best Friends Forever”, he really means it.
4. “Somebody Give Me a Grade”
Not only did The Baljeatles create the greatest punk song about the importance of rules and structure… they created the only punk song about the importance of rules and structure!
3. “Squirrels In My Pants”
This tune is No. 3 on our list of top "Phineas and Ferb" songs but No. 1 on our list of Reasons Not To Feed Wild Animals.
2. “Gitchee Gitchee Goo”
If you ever find yourself struggling to find the right words to express your love for your SO, maybe words aren’t what you need! Say all you need to say with just a few short syllables of complete and utter gibberish.
1. “Aglet”
How many times will you have to use the word "aglet" in your lifetime? Probably none. But do we feel smarter knowing what an aglet is? Absolutely, which is why this is our number one song. Thank you "Phineas and Ferb" for all the insightful, slightly useless information your adventures have provided us!
Now that you’re all refreshed on the best "Phineas and Ferb" jams, be sure to stay tuned for more updates about the Disney+ reboot!
