5. The Wedding Ringer (2015)
In this comedy, Josh Gad stars as Doug Harris, an ultra-successful guy marrying a very beautiful woman named Gretchen Palmer (Kaley Cuoco). The only problem is, Doug does not have a Best Man -- or any friends at all -- to show up to his big day. Enter Jimmy Callahan (Hart). The intelligent gentleman provides Best Man services to grooms who need them. The two characters meet and decide on the never-accomplished Golden Tux package, the most difficult scheme which requires finding 7 groomsmen.
Now, tasked with finding a collection of groomsmen and serving as Doug’s Best Man, the challenge for Jimmy begins. What ensues is a total mess, as he can only find a bunch of troubled, childish, and socially awkward men! The seasoned Best Man must now learn to make these misplaced pieces a cohesive unit that can serve as the perfect groomsmen. Worse, Jimmy is stuck with the name Bic Mitchum as Doug’s Best Man! Throughout the film, Doug and “Bic” must learn each other’s life stories while training these unqualified groomsmen to pull off the perfect wedding and the first ever Golden Tux.
