Attention, YH readers! Sam Wilkinson, AKA Sammy Wilk, is definitely making a name for himself in the music industry, regardless of which name it is. He was first seen in many of Jack & Jack’s Vines but soon branched off and started creating his own music. He went on the Digi Tour with Jack & Jack and collaborated with Nate Maloley, also known as Skate. A few of my favorites from these two are “Party People” and “Nothin To A King”. They have also collaborated with Ty Alaxandar on their song “Signs”, which is a great track. Sammy and Skate just released a new track and music video called “Vibe Out” -- peep it below!
Sammy is currently a part of the independent label Freshlee Records, along with Skate and DJ Rupp (Dillon Rupp). All three of them have collaborated on Dillon’s track, “Where Art Though”:
Anyone who listens to Sammy knows that he does a great job of creating his own sound. His songs “Could You Be The One?” and “Aye Ma” both show off his versatility as an artist. He’s now gravitated towards the rap/hip-hop side of industry, and we think he'll adapt just fine! It’s obvious that he took a lot of time to create his single “Aye Ma”, and the fans were not disappointed. If you follow him on Snapchat, you know he is always in the studio.
You may also recognize Sammy from the Mudd Style Campaign. Seriously? What can’t this guy do? He can rap and model!
He has also been tweeting about releasing an EP and that he was finishing up the last track, which means we could be getting new music very soon. Cue the applause and excitement!
Sammy’s future in the industry definitely looks bright, and we congratulate him on all of his success. Now we patiently wait for the release of his EP! In the meantime, don’t forget to buy “Aye Ma” on iTunes.
