A24 started as a small independent studio but has now grown a big name for itself with the release of blockbuster films with star-studded casts. You may recognize their signature style by the artistically shot films with highly aesthetic colors and compositions, as well as their humanizing and emotionally poignant messages. Little do people know that A24 is also the company behind many of your favorite television shows, notably including “Beef”, “Ramy”, and “Euphoria”. If you're a fan of those, then here is a list of other upcoming A24 TV shows that are either in production or set to be released that you can look forward to!
1. "The Curse"
Set to be released on Showtime on November 12 and November 10 on Paramount+, “The Curse '' has a genre-bending plot that is splendidly acted by its star-studded cast. This half-hour series will star Emma Stone, Nathan Fielder, and Benny Safdie, who are jointly known for their high-concept ideas and satirical comedic style. The series explores how an alleged curse disturbs the relationship of a newly married couple as they try to conceive a child while co-starring on their problematic new HGTV show.
2. "#1 Happy Family USA"
“#1 Happy Family USA” is a new animated series created by Ramy Youssef and Pam Brady. The animated series will be released on Prime Video in 2024 and will feature the voice talents of familiar actors including Ramy himself, Alia Shawkat, Mandy Moore, and Chris Redd. The show is, according to creator Ramy, “an exploration of “the experiences of a Muslim-American family that must learn how to code-switch as they navigate the early-2000s: a time of fear, war, and the rapid expansion of the boy-band industrial complex.” Those who have watched Ramy’s previous comedy series “Ramy” will certainly look forward to his signature style of exploring personal identity while beautifully balancing spirituality.
3. "Hazbin Hotel"
"Hazbin Hotel" is a fresh, new animation chock full of vibrant red and pinks. It is a musical series created by Vivienne "VivziePop" Medrano, and it follows the character Charlie Morningstar, the Princess of Hell, as she tries to open a rehabilitation center to redeem sinners and solve Hell’s overpopulation problem. The pilot episode of the series was released on YouTube in October 2019 and was made entirely by freelance animators. You will soon be able to watch it on Prime Video in January 2024!
4. "Such Brave Girls"
“Such Brave Girls” is a British family sitcom series directed by comedian and writer Simon Bird. The series will feature Kat Sadler, Lizzie Davidson, and Louise Brealey, who play sisters and a single mother trying to make a better life for themselves after the father leaves them. The director describes it as “is a family sitcom about trauma, but it’s more about us being narcissistic losers who are pathetically obsessed with what people think about us.” There are currently 6 episodes that you can watch on the BCC Three channel.

5. "The Sympathizer"
“The Sympathizer'' is a TV series that is set to debut in 2024, a historical black comedy drama directed by Park Chan-wook, based on Viet Thanh Nguyen’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel The Sympathizer. The story follows a half-French, half-Vietnamese communist spy (Hoa Xuande) during the final days of the Vietnam War and his resulting exile in the United States. The series promises a rich, intriguing storyline as well as an incredible cast, including Robert Downey Jr., Sandra Oh, and Fred Nguyen Khan. You will soon be able to watch this show on HBO in 2024.
